the poem uses irony because you would think that the lady would kiss the frog because he says he will make her into a princess but instead he flushes the frog down the toilet.
1. I think the protagonist was trever and the antogoist was Mr. Tom it think that Mr. Tom was the antagonist because they were destroying his house and they were worried he would come home and he did.
